Hey, babes! Hope you guys are having a great day! So, this post is your Fall reading list. I’m mixing in a few of my favorite books that I think will be great to cozy up with this season and also a few books that are trending. I’m sorry, but I haven’t read all of these. I’m posting these book posts faster than I can read the actual books! I’ll tell you which ones I have read though so you can know without a doubt that they’re good *wink wink*

-Your Fall Reading List-

  1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - The Fault in Our Stars is actually a great book that I read this summer. At first, I thought it would be another shallow little teen romance story, but it was actually a great, thought-provoking book. Hazel and Augustus are very mature and their relationship is something really special. You might cry a few times through the book like I did. I will admit the story starts a little slow, but if you push through the first bit, I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied. If you are, I’m sorry and you are just a terrible person. Jk, I know everyone likes different books and I don’t judge anyone’s reading choices and preferences because reading is a magical thing for everyone individually. It’s true. This book wasn’t one of my favorites, but I thought it was really good nevertheless.

  2. Deep Blue by Jennifer Donnelly - Deep Blue is an amazingly fantastic story! It’s about mermaids, enchantments and underwater cities. It’s a great book for you if you’re into fantasy, however it is a bit of a tough read. The storyline is so complex that it can get a little confusing and there is also different languages spoken by some of the characters. It is an extremely thrilling book filled with adventure though, so if that’s what you’re into, then check out this book!

  3. Broken Beautiful Hearts by Kami Garcia - Here's book that I have not yet read. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this book. It’s a romance story about a teenage girl named Peyton Rios who dreams of playing pro soccer, but when her knee shatters from a fall (OR WAS IT A PUSH) down the stairs, so do her dreams of going pro. This sounds like a very interesting book, and I’ll definitely need to read it soon!

  4. The Final Six by Alexandra Monir - Now, here’s a book that caught my attention. This is another one that I have yet to read, but it’s starting to get very popular in the world of sci-fi books. This story is set in the near future. With Earth completely damaged, twenty-two teens compete against each other to become one of six chosen to establish a new colony on Jupiter’s moon. This books sounds very thrilling, and I’m excited to read it!

  5. The Wonder of Us by Kim Culbertson - This has to be one of my favorite books that I’ve ever read! It’s not a thrilling story, but it’s definitely a beautiful and romantic one about friendship and new adventures. Riya and Abby are best friends who live on different continents and currently are very mad at each other. When Riya proposes a trip around Europe, Abby agrees, hoping to reestablish their friendship and grow closer. But, Riya has an ulterior motive to bringing Abby along on this trip - Riya needs to find a time to tell Abby something that will break her heart and might cost them everything.

So, that’s it for my must-reads of this fall! I hope you guys will enjoy some of these books as much as I did. I’m also looking forward to reading some that I haven’t yet. Also, you guys need to know about two AMAZING books coming out soon. I don’t know if you’ve read the Keepers of the Lost Cities series or maybe the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series, but they are BOTH coming out with new additions this fall! I know that release date for the next KOTLC book is set in November, and the next MPHFPC book is set to come out in October I believe. Anyways, thought you guys might want to know that if you’re interested in any of these series. Happy reading!

Love,

Becca
